Why Fruugo margins are hard to track

One fee, shoppers worldwide, and margin that depends on where each order goes.

Fruugo charges a single fee of around 20% of the order value, excluding sales tax, which covers its commission and payment processing, with no listing fees. Orders can come from shoppers around the world, so delivery costs and returns vary from one order to the next. A sales total on its own doesn’t tell you what an order actually earned.

Every Fruugo order is reconstructed from its components: principal and shipping charged to the buyer, so the starting number is the real one, not an estimate. WhatSales then deducts the costs that decide whether an order made money:

  • ✓Fruugo’s fee taken off each order at the rate Fruugo actually charges.
  • ✓International delivery and returns, so far-flung orders show their true cost.
  • ✓Shipping & postage, including labels you buy yourself.
  • ✓Product cost (COGS) and any per-unit or operational costs you add.
  • ✓Full order P&L, plus product-level economics for every SKU.

The result is an estimated profit and margin you can trust: the figure that reaches your bank, ready to sort, filter and trend across your whole catalogue.

True profit on every Fruugo order, not a sales total. Fruugo’s fee, international delivery and returns all chip away at the same sale. WhatSales rebuilds each order from its raw parts, then applies the actual costs, to give you profit and margin per order and per SKU.

Sort by margin, filter by product, trend across the quarter: Fruugo sits in one dashboard with Amazon, eBay, Shopify and every other channel you connect, rather than in a statement you have to decode by hand.

What Fruugo charges

A sale that looks profitable can be thinner than it seems.

Fruugo keeps it simple: no listing fees, and one fee of around 20% of the order value when you make a sale. The rest of the margin question is your own costs, and those change with every destination.

On a £30 order, a 20% fee is £6.00 before you’ve paid for delivery or product. Fee details are from Fruugo’s own seller site. WhatSales takes off the real fee on each order.

Everything you need

Everything you need to sell on Fruugo, in one place.

Performance

A product can be getting plenty of traffic on Fruugo and still be underperforming against what it should deliver after costs. Performance tracks sales trends, orders and refund rates on Fruugo alongside every other channel, so you can tell what’s actually driving growth.

Restock

A best-selling product that runs out on Fruugo stops selling in every country at once. Restock flags low inventory automatically, before you run dry.

Replan

Not every product deserves a second order, especially once Fruugo’s fee and international delivery are accounted for. Replan shows you which products are actually worth reordering, based on real sales and margin performance, not just what’s moving.

Sourcing

You know a product is selling on Fruugo. What you don’t always know is whether your supplier can restock it in time to protect your listing. Sourcing tracks supplier lead times alongside your sales pace, so restocking decisions reflect real turnaround.

Engage

Fast, accurate replies keep buyers happy. If you sell beyond Fruugo, Engage brings customer messages and support tickets from your other marketplaces into one inbox, so nothing slips through.

Workspace

Scaling on Fruugo brings its own listing, content and compliance demands. Workspace takes on the listing copy, product imagery, variation and bundle setup, quality assurance and day-to-day support, so growth doesn’t cost you your week.
