Which option should I choose?
If you recover more than about £1,660 a month, Self-service at a flat £249 costs less than 15%. Below that, Done for you costs less, and you don’t have to file anything. The calculator above shows the cheapest option for your numbers.
When exactly do you charge the 15%?
Only after Amazon has paid the money back into your account. Each month we charge 15% of what was recovered that month to your payment method, with a breakdown of every case behind the charge.
Can I see the cases on Done for you?
Yes. Both options give you all your data and all your cases: what was found, what was filed, what Amazon paid and what we charged. Nothing is hidden behind a total.
Why does Amazon pay less than my cost?
Without your manufacturing cost on file, Amazon values lost and damaged stock using its own estimate, which is often lower. Recovery shows the gap per product and tells you how to add your cost in Seller Central, so future payments use your figure.
What does Recovery check?
Underpaid reimbursements, fee overcharges, lost and damaged stock, customer returns and seller-shipped returns. It also flags products you sell at a loss or where your margin is being squeezed.

What happens if a claim window is about to close?
